Two years ago I had the enormous pivilige of going on a safari; a childhood dream. Specifically taking photos of cheetah and lions. This random stroke of luck and a particularly insightful manager who I’ll call AP led me to buy my first serious camera, one that I feared never using again after the trip but decided to commit. The combination of travel, languages, and photography has completely changed the trajectory of my life from tech slave to, if successful, someone capable of positively influencing and informing a. populace who simply doesn’t have time or energy to. do this work themselves.

As a designer I knew a book of photos would be part of this work, but I had no idea how to operate the camera, what to shoot, if the idea of a story meant much to me. Two years later and now I know.

At the heart of this project is a search for beauty, serendipity, coincidence, and the redeeming qualities of humankind by way of candid street and documentary photography. Think of this as primarily a photography portfolio. However, given the state of the world, viewers will find a strong political theme throughout, which I’ve tried to separate the site—for those uninterested in learning and those interested in the photos. In its basic form Hive Mind contrasts beauty and greed while making a strong argument for beauty, at whatever price. And to be clear, I know how extreme this price will be, and I do not advocate violence against the world’s most powerful military and surveillance force in human history. We have to find another way. And for me that is informing and undoing propaganda in order to encourage a state of non-compliance such that the elite wealth disappears and the system resets.

To wake the people up to the venom in their food, the rotting of their minds, the division sewed intentionally to distract from horrific acts mostly domestic right now but far to often meddling with the entire world. The masses don’t understand any of this and would rather believe the actual travesties over brief novelistic USA set agrandizing. I would like to change this because in order to change the world, you need to change the attitude of the entire of the world first. And there is far more suffering in the world than there is any need to be. We have the resources to cover everyone's housing everyone's food medicine healthcare and yet we concentrate the wealth in the hands of a select view, and it is completely sociopathic and the American public in particular. Also, the European public needs to be made aware of what is happening because frankly, they have no fucking clue. The news media does not deliver. The truth is propaganda as pure as what we hear about in China.

It takes years of investigation and acceptance to connect the links between these events, a process of awakening so to speak that once a certain level is reached allows one to analyze critically and with an open mind the official stories being fed to us by the traditional news media. To be clear, in the United States the entire country is compromised, either by investment firms like Blackrock and Vanguard, combined with State Street own 88% of all shares in the Fortune 500. The USA has never been a democracy nor will it ever be, and thus the measures of control and manipulation are crucial to maintain a peaceful populace, whom from the beginning were feared under the concept of the tyranny of the majority. All votes equal, the poor would easily vote away the money hoarded by the rich, thus from the beginning measures were taken to avoid a one for one vote. Beyond

I will admit that there are photographers more daring and talented than I, and they are perhaps doing the same sort of work more effectively and with more diligence. But for my own sake, and I’ll be the first to admit this is not an altogether altruistic project, I’m hoping to turn what amounted to a skilled tourist taking photos to someone attempting, however fruitlessly, to impact and inform the masses around the sickening greed and gleeful violence of the elites, those who would lead us straight into 1984. A dystopia that is becoming to real to tolerate for those who understand what is happening. This will likely turn out to be a politically charged portfolio site, but it’s better than dedicated a life, my only life, to constructing the systems of control which will dictate every action of future generations. I, and those like me, want to ensure that the beauty of the present moment isn’t lost.

This idea of politicizing my nascent travel photography (I took my first photos in October of 2024, had no interest before that. Went on a safari decided to buy a real camera and here we are.

The politicization of this photography book, a project already long in the works, is nascent and in constant development as I speak with those who qualified to opine, Actions of my country USA in Venezuela and its treatment of migrants. Hatred is born of ignorance. Try placing a Klan member in Uganda with no money or cell phone, ask them how they feel about their racism before and after because you know what? Those Ugandans are gonna help them in any way they can. There are good people in every country but the poorest ones are always the most generous in my experience.
